Mangosteen

Mangosteen, algo known as the “THE QUEEN OF FRUITS”, has a purple rind, that underneath hides the flesh of the Fruit, which is cotton colored with a delicious juicy flavor.

Besides its delicious flavor, Mangosteen has a high nutritional value. It is a rich source of carbohydrates and fiber. It also contains vitamin A and C, Iron, Calcium and Potassium. It’s a great source of Xanthones

Mangosteen trees are cone shape, and can last more than 150 years! The fruit is handpicked in order to guarantee its quality. Native to south-east Asia, Mangosteen was introduced to Colombia more than 200 years ago, showing great potential, producing high yields and premium quality fruits.
